Anti-Trafficking & Advocacy Group
‘Life is the gift of our Creator...and it should never be for sale.’
Did you know that women and children are being bought and sold...right in front of us? The modern-day equivalent of slavery: Trafficking in Persons or Human Trafficking
Between 13,000 and 17,000 foreign nationals are trafficked annually in the United States alone...and sad to say, Maryland is one of the top destinations. These helpless people are being forced to live under oppression in the underground sex industry and labour market...and it is happening where we live.
OK, what do we do? This advocacy group will gather to learn more about Human Trafficking and pray against it, while listening and looking for what the Father might have us do about it.

Outreach Teams
* Street Outreach Teams
- Baltimore/DC street outreach
- local club outreach
* Community Awareness Outreach: Awareness campaigns throughout the Central Maryland area
- targeted campaigns (university campus, specific neighborhoods)
- special events (i.e., Ukrainian festivals, Hispanic festivals, etc. in Baltimore and DC)
* One-on-One: Mentoring/ Friendship
- Volunteering at YANA Place
* Friendship and Care for women in need
- Life Skills: Job Search, Budgeting, Housing, Grocery Shopping etc.
* Intercession Team
- a group of people praying specifically for this issue on a regular basis.
- pray for outreach teams during outreach times
* Advocacy Team
* e-mail and letter writing to the government
* researching legal rights w/ regard local clubs
* researching Crime Rates of Strip Club areas
* financial aid
* coalition-building (community groups)
* advocating for effective government intervention
* fund-raising events and avenues
