Marriage/Family & Pre-Marital Ministry

Marriage is one of the most precious, powerful and intimate relationships that God has given us. It helps us grow and teaches us how to both give and receive love. Yet without strong foundations and life skills, the dream of living happily ever after can become a nightmare of disappointment. Perhaps worse, it can become boring.

The goal of the Vineyard's Marriage Ministry is to equip couples of all ages to build their lives upon solid Biblical foundations so that they might stand as indivisible teams, secure, fulfilled and ready to take on the world. We deal with such issues as needs and expectations, husband and wife roles, communication dynamics and conflict resolution. We examine God's purpose for marriage, and the Godly principles for headship and submission, managing the home, raising children and how to stay in love. As the Author of marriage and the One who designed us, God knows how we ought to live so as to walk in the kind of joy He intended. He is the fountainhead of wisdom for how marriage works, and thus can transform poor marriages into successful ones and make successful marriages great.

At Vineyard Central we have developed an entire army of ministry in order to nurture marriage relationships. This ministry includes relationship, parenting, and financial workshops; quarterly 'couple' events, and retreats.
