Meals Ministry

You wouldn’t believe how many babies are being born within the Vineyard! We like giving the mothers a short break from having to fix the family meals. Couple that with the occasions when someone has had a sickness or surgery that keeps them from cooking for a short time. Suddenly you have a full fledged Meals Ministry on your hands.

We can think of no other ministry that is welcomed with such gratefulness than this one. Everyone can do it...even if you can't cook, men! A bucket of chicken, a pizza, and a quick trip to the salad bar for someone is a welcome relief when you are not too functional. Of course you can polish up your best gourmet meal too!

Note: Meals are provided only when there is such a difficulty (due to a new baby or surgery) that the 'primary meal maker' of a family is unavailable and other immediate family members are reasonably unable to 'fill in the gap' . The Kinship Group that the family participates in will be approached to help with this need.
