‘therefore go and make disciples of all nations’
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20
Vineyard Missional Perspective. At the Vineyard, we seek to follow Jesus in the mission Our Father gave to all of us. The proclamation, demonstration and embodiment of the good news of the Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus is our core. Like Jesus, we are commissioned by the Father’s love and the Spirit’s power. Whether as individuals or teams, we are sent out by the local church and partnering with other churches to accomplish our mission. We no longer live for ourselves, but for what the Father is doing. Both near and far, our aim, wherever possible, is to serve the lost that they might know Him and to serve our co-laborers that they might minister effectively. We echo the Westminster confession as core to our mission: ‘Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever.’
The Vineyard Genetic Code. Local church based missions is part of the genetic code of the Vineyard. John Wimber, its founder, always said that equipping of the Saints is crucial and that “Everyone gets to play!” – meaning simply that in the church every member has something to offer.
Contextualization of Vineyard Values in Each Culture – There is a common commitment to the Vineyard values being contextualized in each culture where a Vineyard church is being planted. A common model of contextualization has not been identified nor embraced (missiologists generally identify seven main models of contextualization: anthropological, translation, praxis, adaptation, synthetic, semiotic, and critical). Generally, the expectation is that people within a culture will have the primary role in the contextualization of structure, and Vineyard values, in their culture.
As we have sought to follow the Father three areas of strategic focus have emerged for our community. Our three strategic areas for overseas missions at the Vineyard are Ukraine, Southern Africa and the Middle East. :

The Middle East: we are in the initial phase of exploring who/what/where/when/how phase; Nazim Bouadjemi is spear-heading our exploration.
"And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." (Matt. 24: 14)
